[Holy hell, sleeping in the same bed as another person is fucking stifling.

That's pretty much the first thought in Dirk's mind upon waking up, shortly following the split second of confusion as to why he feels like he's been swaddled in blankets and stuffed into a furnace. And the even longer moment of not being sure if he likes it or not. And the even longer moment after that that still hasn't ended where he's not really sure how they ended up like this. Because that blond head of hair definitely does not belong to Roxy, or even Rose. In fact, nobody is this bony, except for-

[Dirk edges just the tiniest bit closer, heart speeding up. This is wrong. So fucking wrong. But he wants it.]

[ his throat feels a little dry and he swallows uselessly in hopes of fixing that problem a little as he gets closer. it doesn't do much and he figures he may as well just get used to the feeling for awhile, even if it is awkward. even more awkward is pressing dry lips against Dirk's, but he figures there's more to that funny feeling than just the fact that his mouth's dry, at the very least.

more than anything, it makes his the muscles in his lower stomach tighten just enough to be noticeable, enough to make him squirm in place to get a little relief from it. ]

[That makes him jump a little. And hell, it might as well be his first for how funny it makes him feel. Still, it... oh fuck it, if he just goes ahead and jumps into this, maybe he'll get over it, leaning in and trying to make it an actual kiss, lips pressing firmly against Dave's.

[ given that they were so into it, he figures they must've been on the ball. or at least he was, since Dirk is the one that came out of it covered in scratches bordering on bloody and raised bruises all over anywhere that's visible. whatever person did that, he wants to be that, because it's probably a lot cooler than the guy he is right now, all stiff as a board with his hands clenched in the sheets, working his mouth against Dirk's with little to no finesse but trying to play it off like He Got This.

[Good, yes, but kind of weirdly unsettling. Like he can't... he just can't quite move past the most jarring part about this. After all, you don't spend sixteen years of your life idolizing a man long-dead but more awesome than anyone you have ever known who is also your only known blood relative and then turn around and mack on a teenage version of him while sober like it's nothing. You just don't.]

[ the more they think on it the harder it's going to be to actually do and he wants it, he doesn't know why and probably shouldn't but he does. he sits up as best he can while tangled up in the blankets and hovers over Dirk, grabs his hair and pulls him into another kiss. ]

he may be really emotionally irresponsible and doesn't have a clue what he's doing, but he is one determined kid. ]

Mng- [He carefully threads his arms around Dave's shoulders, pulling him a little closer, just to see what happens. That and, well, he kinda really just wants to touch. Like, everywhere. A lot.]

[ if he actually stopped to think about this he might actually be pretty incredulous at himself for managing this, for even being this bold because seriously, this is his bro—maybe not the same Bro that he grew up with, but details. there is just something fundamentally wrong about how good it feels to pull his hair, claim his mouth, slide over and press against him, blood pounding hot under the surface and the sensation of skin-on-skin contact sending little shockwaves of pleasure down his spine that pool between his legs.
